I'm Adam Thompson, the creator of Dance Tempo. Dance Tempo is a high quality, easy-to-use, inexpensive solution for selling assigned-seating dance show tickets online. I have worked with dance studios for 10 years, and I've applied that experience to the creation of DT. Pricing
There are two pricing options to suit your studio's needs; pay up front, or pay over time. Both options include setup, training, and tech support. Initial consultation is free.
- Pay Up Front option: $800 one-time purchase; no recurring fees, no percentage fees. Includes setup. Does not include hosting costs, typically $10/mo, or use your existing website for free.
- Pay Per Ticket option: $200 setup fee, $0.50 per ticket sale. No other fees. Ongoing security and feature updates. Includes hosting.
Credit card transaction fees are approximately 3%, standard for the industry.
How It Works
- Dance Tempo is set up and branded to your studio. Setup takes about 3 days.
- Your admins enter information about your upcoming show(s); ticket price, venue, etc.
- Parents, family, and students go to your website to buy tickets.
- They see a list of your shows. They click a show they want tickets for. An actual seating chart appears, showing which seats are available or sold. They click the seats they want to purchase.
- They view a summary of their order, confirm it, and pay using their credit card through a reputable merchant (Google or Amazon).
- Their tickets are automatically emailed to them within a few minutes. They print these out and bring them to the show.
- Ticket sales profits are automatically transferred directly to your bank account every 3-5 days.
- When you close ticket sales before the show, you can print out a list of orders, in case anyone forgets to bring their tickets to the show.
